The man known as the "Craigslist Killer" has finally been arrested.
22-year-old Philip Marcoff, was arrested in his car on Interstate 95 outside of Boston. Marcoff is a PreMed student at Boston University with no criminal record.
Marcoff is charged with the death of 29-year-old Julissa Brisman. It is alleged that Marcoff solicited Brisman from a Craigslist ad to the Copley Marriot Hotel for massage services, where he robbed and shot her to death.
"It appears he was preying on people who are in a vulnerable position ... we are happy to have this man off the street until the investigation is over," said Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis.
He is also charged with another kidnapping and robbery of a victim at the Westin Hotel.
